There are two stations with the same name (Voice of Libya Free) first in Benghazi and the second in Misurata
This radio was affiliated to the Ministry of Information before the revolution in Libya and is now an independent station

The station operates 24 hours a day. As well as the morning show, there are also live religious programmes and a segment aimed at young people

Voice of Libya Free Name used by three radio stations joined the Libyan rebels. The Voice of Libreh Free Radio was launched in Al-Bayda on February 20, 2011, and later on February 21. Libya's free voice is also heard on several radio stations in Darna, Tobruk, Zliten and Nalut, covering the coverage of the surrounding cities.

For the first time, the Libyan Free Radio was heard after the rebels took control of it. It was in the city of Al-Bayda, where it was launched on February 20. [3] The article published an appeal in English to US President Barack Obama and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

On the following day, February 21, a news report said Benghazi station started broadcasting at 2 pm local time. In another press release in late April 2011 Misrata station said it had started broadcasting on February 21, and in a report confirmed that Misratah radio was first heard on March 21.

Two  new  250  kW  shortwave  transmitters  for  Radio  Algérienne  are  currently  being  installed  at  Ourgla  and  Bechar  in
Algeria  and are expected to be operational later in 2017. The following frequencies have been registered for A-17:
